Vile Ent's First E.P. Empty
PostSubject: Vile Ent's First E.P.   Vile Ent's First E.P. EmptyTue 9 Nov 2010 - 23:30

- Update : Vile has gone solo, the SEED did not sprout! Go to http://stage65.ning.com/profiles/blogs/vile-ent-goes-solo for details or read the condensed version in the comments below! -

Thanks go to Strappy for the go ahead on posting some of my own music! This is definitely rare and obscure because it is a preview of my act SEED's 1st demo, and is only being exposed on one other site apart from this lol! So this is not the finished product, but pretty close to it.

SEED's web headquarters are at Stage 6.5 for now, the commercial unveiling on Myspace, Facebook, etc. will happen in mid-December.

KISS fans may find it interesting how the band was formed, and the info in that regard can be found at the above link, as well as graphics. My musical resume includes Infernal Majesty, Ligeia (Canada, with original Annihilator members), Bates Motel (now Big John Bates), and Violent Christ. I am vocalist in SEED and Violent Christ, and played drums in the other bands mentioned.

SEED's music is a unique balance between oldschool Heavy Metal/Hard Rock and Industrial. The link below is to "Honey, I'm Home", SEED's most accessible, Hard Rock-style song previewed so far. Hope you enjoy it. - Vile Ent

Didn't know you was a vocalist, Vile.! quite awesome resume you got there, what year was you a drummer for Infernal Majesty?

"Honey, I'm Home" was badass! there is something with the dark athmosperic sound that really made this very enjoyable to listen to, I like it.! I have to check out the others songs right away goddamit! Smile

Let me know when the demo is finished and I will for sure order a copy from you!.Twisted Evil

Thanks Strapp, the feedback is much appreciated!!!! I will let you know as soon as the demo is ready! Yeah I played with Infernal from 1999-2001. The band was pretty much inactive at that point, there are more details and some rare rehearsal recordings if you comb through the comments at stage65.ning.com/group/xtreme/forum/topics/metal-mania-various-metal I don't mean to force you back there but some information is a bit sensitive, and I post all my secret stuff there where no one will notice it LOL

Thanks Vile, another one I like a lot are Soulsplitter! looking forward to the demo man.
Also after some reading in the Stage 6.5 thread I found the Infernal Majesty rehearsals you where playing drums on, not bad! could I ask why you didn't continued to play for them?

Thanks Strapp! Soulsplitter is a pretty Soul-Splitting song Metal (feel free to roll your eyes NOW). LOL

I didn't stay with Infernal because there were no efforts made by Chris or Chay to join us in Vancouver over a two year period while they were living in Ontario, and insufficient measures taken to solve that problem. The best solution ironically was in fact for me to leave, which I believe got Steve and Kenny so mad at Chris for not living up to his commitments (given that at a certain point I made a deadline for his arrival crystal clear), that they forced him to show up on threat of death LOL. Problem solved, and Infernal could go on.

Vile Ent has gone solo, the SEED did not sprout! SEED is no more and having worked with seven people and having auditioned many others since the beginning of this project, I’ve realized now is not the time to form a band. What’s different about this project from anything I’ve done before is its electronic foundation. Electronic sequences were part of the music to begin with, so the next logical step has become using them live, in accompaniment to my beautiful voice (!). So after the recording is done and released for sale on the net, I’ll be working on the development of a one-man show.

The biggest contributor to the E.P. other than myself is musical genius K-Man (Mr. Bump), who has contributed the instrumentation to “Web Witch” and the as-yet unheard “The Violence”. He also plays guitar in “Soulsplitter”. Big John Bates (Annihilator's original vocalist and co-writer of "Alice In Hell") plays rhythm guitar on "Honey, I'm Home". The majority of the songwriting, instrumentation, and all vocals come from myself. Therefore I’ve decided to present it as a solo recording and work on the solo live show.

Thanks for your continued support as I embark on this new chapter in the Vile Ent musical oddity! There is some very exciting news I'm waiting to unveil, so watch this space lol!

Here's "Soulsplitter" since Strappy said he liked it! Enjoy.

An exciting announcement...

Vile Ent is currently collaborating with ex-WITCHFYNDE vocalist HARRY HARRISON...Click HERE to read my post about Mr. Harrison. Harry is also an amazing guitarist and all-around musician, and what you hear in this little AUDIO/VIDEO clip Harry made are some first-run guitar and keyboard tracks for my song "Deceived". He will also be adding additional vocals. So these are generally just rough tracks, edited and at a low bit-rate, as I have to leave some of it as a surprise for the release.

Harry and I are considering working on further material together and continuing to forge a long-distance musical partnership! And it's certainly exciting to talk to Harry on the phone, but very expensive as well! Who knows what the future might hold.
